Overview

Sasha and Darren Bay (and yes, they are twins) are some of New York's finest hairstylists. They came to us through Paul Steven's referral, since they loved his website, and wanted to also push their image to be on par with the quality of their work.

We created a design that really puts their creativity in your face, through use of full screen images and subtle animations. It stands out as an elegant glamour website and gets their great fashion sense across.

The design won recognition through BestWebDesignAward.com and was also featured on Creattica.

Overview

Steven Paul is a passionate New York fashion photographer. He loved our work on churchboutique.com and wanted a similar design to help present his work at a top professional level.

We created a design that stands on his own. A design that stays bold, elegant and to the point with clean navigation and smooth and intuitive transitions. It is the online equivalent of the elevator pitch, convincing in less then 12 seconds he is a professional, trustworthy Fashion Photographer.

Elegant Admin Area, that we use on all our projects. Allows you to update and control every aspect of your portfolio website in the most intuitive and effective manner

Overview

We wanted to create an admin system that freed the artist from having to rely on the designer to keep his site updated.

After studying some of the already popular systems (like wordpress) we decided to come up with our own custom built solution that would really fit the portfolio websites.

You can manage pages / content / galleries with ease, using intuitive drag & drop for reordering and multi-file upload for time saving and efficiency.

We took SEO under high consideration, each image uploaded is renamed and tagged with relevant keywords. It comes straight with Google Analytics integration and other SEO settings (ex: html5 micro-data). All our projects hit top page rankings for artist names and location. (ex: "Steven Paul New York")

Also for each image server automatically creates multiple size versions, creating most effective bandwidth transfer and fastest load times.

The system is built with the modern BackBone.js framework, and was thought as an App, making everything as interactive and intuitive as possible.
